Darrin and Kelly {Engagement}

I seriously have the best clients. I had so much fun with Darrin and Kelly. I just love chatting about wedding stuff with my brides and grooms since I too am now engaged! I find that I can always turn to my brides about any wedding questions I have, and they ALWAYS respond back asap with so much helpful information or encouragement. It's amazing!
Darrin and Kelly have such a fun and sweet {Love}. They are planning a New Year's Wedding. Kelly came up with the great idea to incorporate their wedding date in their engagement session so they could use those images for their save the dates. I think they turned out pretty darn cute!
We were originally suppose to have their session in June, but due to bad weather we had to reschedule. It was pretty funny, the day we were originally suppose to have it I had told Kelly earlier over the phone that we would just kind of play it by ear and see what the weather was like come time to photograph that evening. Well..come that time.. the tornado sirens went off and 5 minutes later Kelly calls and asks if the session is still on. haha! So we rescheduled the session and it was sunny weather all day and wouldn't you know it.. come their session time it was conditions for stormy weather again! But this time it held off until 30 minutes AFTER we were done photographing. The clouds made for some pretty blue skies during our session though! We're hoping this weather pattern doesnt follow them and they don't get a blizzard the day of their wedding. KNOCK ON WOOD! :) Thanks you guys for a wonderful session!

I love the warm glow of this photo. You'd never know that right behind me were black wall clouds.

I just realized my reflection showed up in the window of this photo.
Lookn' good Jayne...jk It will be photo"chopped" out. haha

The Burner Family

It was great to meet Bob and Judy and the rest of their family. They were such a fun group and we had a beautiful night of photographing. Thanks for choosing Jayne Priebe Photography!

Leiah {Clarkfield} YME Senior

Leiah literally couldn't take a bad photo if she tried. She was so relaxed in front of the camera, which made me feel like the skies the limit in my photography. I got to try out my new vintage style light bulbs in the "loft" studio. I was so excited to see how fabulous she photographed with them. Chances are you will be seeing more creative uses of them on the blog. Leiah was such a sweet girl, and I enjoyed chatting with her, her Mom, and Aunt during the session. What a great bunch of gals! :) I also get the pleasure of photographing her older sister's wedding next June. Yeh!

This one reminds me of a perfume magazine advertisement. :)

thee light bulbs!

{Davis Children}

These kids were so sweet. Jakob was an amazing big brother, and had soo much patients especially for a 6 year old. It's obvious he's a proud big bother to his baby sister. I think she likes him a lot too. He's the only one that could get her to crack a smile! :P

Sydney {2 years}

This face look familiar? It should, because she's posted everywhere on my website! haha This is Sydney, my Niece. Sydney turned 2 in May so we thought we'd better get some photos of her done sooner rather then later. It can be quite challenging photographing a 2 year old that knows you. They really have a hard time listening and seem to think it's fun to jump on the photographer when she lays in the grass to photograph them. haha Besides being equally cute as her brother, she is still one of my favorite little people to photograph. :)

This one is my favorite. She always greets me with this smile when I see her. It's very Sydney.

Grandma Priebe picked out her bow. I'm surprised she actually kept it on. Pretty proud of her for that.

I love her overbite smile. If there was a computer buck tooth smiley I could put on here, I so would for this one.

Those Binoculars!! We switched the setting up and went into a patch of wild flowers. The only way we could get her to stop fussing was to tell her a car was coming on a nearby road. She would then respond, " Where!?" and put up her hand binoculars up.

5 seconds before this photo she was fussing and then a car drove by, and this is the reaction I get. Kids....haha

Travis+Kari {Michaelson} Willmar, MN

It was such a beautiful day for Travis and Kari. The church where they got married had a lot of beautiful areas of landscape for ideal photographing spots. We were blessed with a partly cloudy day, making those spots usable for photographing. I've been waiting to photograph their wedding since I first photographed them for their engagement photos, simply because I love Kari's smile. It's one of those smiles that can make anyone smile. :) Travis has so much love for Kari. It's amazing just to witness it. Once again, I had a hard time finding my "favs" to post on here because I loved them all. Also, I have to mention that Travis is musician so music is big in his life and let me tell ya, their singer at their wedding was incredible! I thought I was listening to Josh Groban. Amazing. Thanks so much you guys for letting me apart of your fabulous day!

Kari and Travis' first time seeing each other that day. I thought it was so sweet how Travis held his hands behind him until Kari reached for him.

It never fails, I tear up at every wedding I photograph. This is the moment that got me.

The "fun" wedding party photo! My Bride's and Groom's love these, their wedding parties on the other hand could kill me over them. haha
